Varied Terrain & Ecosystems

This coastal track covers the entire southern half of Pacific Rim National Park where we will link the Willowbrae trail to Florencia Bay, continue northwards to the Nuu-chah-nulth trail, Wickaninnish Beach and Combers Beach for many opportunities for large landscape views and temperate rainforest exploration.

Natural and Cultural History

Your private interpretive guide will teach you about the local ecosystems including the plants and animals of this coastal rainforest, intertidal and marine life. We will also explore the rich history of the region, from the fur-trade to whaling and everything in between.

Rewarding Coastal Pacific Rim Hike

This moderate hike in Pacific Rim National Park leads through sandy beaches, gravel and board walk trails and links our favourite trails together to experience the National Park's best areas. We highly recommend this hike for first time visitors who want to make the most of their trip to Tofino.


Getting There: This hike begins at Willowbrae Trailhead on Willowbrae Road at the entrance to Wya Point Resort, about 35km from Tofino and 6km from Ucluelet.
